Superdry Online Returns Policy
At www.superdry.co.za, we strive to give the best possible customer and product experience. Should you wish to return an item purchased from our online platform, please note the following.
The Online Returns Procedure:
Before initiating the returns process, you commit to review and fully understand the contents of the Online Returns Policy.
What must I do?
- The item(s) for return are packed in the original or other appropriate packaging.
- If more than one item is to be returned, they should be combined into one package.
- The packaging is securely sealed prior to courier collection.
How long does it take?
Once you’ve submitted a return request for refund or exchange, we will review the request and will notify of approval within 1-2 working days.
Once your return request is approved, a collection request is sent to our courier partner who will proceed to collect your item(s) for return to the warehouse.
Collections typically occur within 1-3 working days and may take up to 7 working days to arrive at the national warehouse in Gauteng.
Once the item(s) arrive at the warehouse, it undergoes general returns inspections, and an email notification will be sent once the return procedure has completed and the refund/exchange processed.
Can I return anything?
We're happy to process an exchange or refund, subject to the following conditions:
- The item is in the condition as received, with labels attached, and packaging intact.
- The item has not been worn.
- The return request was submitted within 30 days of delivery for non-sale items.
- The return request was submitted within 7 days of delivery for items purchased while on sale.
- The item was purchased from www.superdry.co.za.
- The item does not form part of the list of non-returnable items.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to hygienic reasons, we are not able to accept return requests relating to:
- Underwear, Swimsuits, and Socks.
- Items that had been altered from its original condition.
- Items that have been damaged due to negligence or normal wear and tear.
We are also not able to process refunds for Gift Cards or offer monetary value for discount/promotional codes.
All products, irrespective of being “Non-Returnable Items”, may be returned if they are delivered in error or do not match the sample or description of the products on the site as of the date of placing an order.
Defective/faulty products:
Defective products can be returned up to 6 months after delivery by contacting our helpful Customer Service team who will advise you accordingly.
I’ve accidentally included an item I wasn’t supposed to in my return parcel:
If a personal item or parcel meant for another retailer is returned to us in error, we will provide you with two options:
- You can arrange the return of the item at your cost from the warehouse, or
- We can discard the unwanted items on your behalf.
Do I have to return my Promotional gifts?
If you have received a promotional gift with your purchase, we require that this be returned when the purchased product is returned.
Can I return items bought on www.superdry.co.za in a physical Superdry store and vice versa?
Items purchased from our online platform (www.superdry.co.za) can only be returned via our Online Returns Procedure.
Similarly, items bought from physical Superdry stores need to be returned to the store where the item had been purchased.
Additional Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to reject a return, refund or exchange for the following reasons:
- The product is part of the non-returnable list.
- The product had failed inspection and return standards at the warehouse, e.g.:
- The item is received dirty,
- The item is visibly worn,
- The item has a foul odour,
- The item is found to be damaged in a way that is not specified in the return reason and/or that has not been communicated to our customer service team.
- There is a product missing from the initial return request.
- The incorrect product is returned.
Refund values are processed as per the price paid at the time of purchase. The Buyer shall be called upon to, on request from the Seller, present a copy of the applicable tax invoice evidencing the sale and containing the information of the products the Buyer wishes to return.
